I love watching love Dulcecandy87 videos on youtube, I subscribed to her a while ago but been watching her videos a lot more recently. She does great fashion hauls that gives me ideas about cute new things. This video pointed my attention to this fabulous coral purse at love culture, which is now on my christmas list! :) She also does videos on make-up products and tutorials.

Christmas is 25 days away! This year I mainly just wanted one thing, a DKNY gunmetal huge tote that I saw at TJ-Maxx I told my mom about it and she said she got it so i'm good! But my brothers and dad were telling me to hurry up and decide what I want! So online shopping I went! :D

I am trying to plan in advance my plans for the summer this year, the last two years i did not do anything really, but I am a junior now. And all though I know I think imma be a two yr senior,it's still time to find an internship so I have experience in the fashion biz once i graduate.
I really want to internship in paris this summer, im evening going to take french next semester. And if I cant get one in Paris this summer then either England or Miami at fashion mag like "Ocean Drive".

After the rainy weather from yesterday, today and tomorrow is bringing a cold front. Which most Miamians' hate, but me not being from Miami, I love it. The only real reason I'm excited for it to get colder is just for the winter clothes. This summer I bought this jacket at H&M that I have been impatiently waiting to wear, it looks similar to a varsity jacket . I saw it in the guys section actually, but I thought it would look better on me so I got it in a small. I also cant wait to wear boots, long sleeves, and hats.

Although skirts is not winter weather thats okay cause this is Miami, it doesn't get that freezing or cold everyday. I have a vision in my mind of wearing semi tight skirts that hit a few inches above, with knee highs ankle boots. I am also really into wellington boots aka rain boots, great for function for when it rains and good for style.

Halloween costumes 2010

After much debate about what I was gonna be for halloween I choose three different things. First day Marilyn Monroe, second Harry potter girl, and third day Nicki Minaj.

Kappa party at nocturnal Friday

Fun night but feet were killing me by the end of the night, I had to go to walmart to buy slippers so I wouldn't have to keep walking in those painful heels although they were cute.

Both Dress and wig from party city, both $20 each.

Gamma party at Coral Gables- Saturday

Club was packed with ppl, so packed I could barely dance with my friends. And some big girl stepped her heel on two my toe, but was with my roommate and friend so I still had a great time. This outfit is also from Party City for $50.

Coconut Grove-Sunday

Me as Nicki Minaj the very animated female rapper. This outfit just came out of things a found in my closet, and flat boots for the night gave my feet a night to rest....ahhhh! And wig I got from a wig shop in Destin, FL this summer. So a lot of funny characters out at the grove that night!

This time a year ago I was home with my family dressing up to hand out candy, it was of course to be with my family so it was still great but I was bored in that town, here I have a fun filled weekend of three different outfit options, thats why I love Miami!

Aldo is like heaven, but hell on my wallet

Last month I after I got some money in from Gi bill i decided to go to the mall, little did I know the damage I would do. Me and my friend went into Aldo and I didn't just walk in, it was like I was being drawn in, like there was a cloud that slipped below my feet and guided me in. I actually use to work at Aldo about two yrs ago. But I think this season is its best season to date. There boots are beyond amazing and heels are always stunning. I ended up getting A pair of black pair of boots and heels! I had the money but that was the most I have ever paid for shoes. I only wish I still had their employee discount 50% off, tear.

Another stop to get my shoes widened resulted in more purchases: a purse, ring, and camo glasses

And then just last weekend I stopped in another store when I was on my way to another store in the mall. I was these black lace shoes that reminded me of some shoes that my mom had when I was much younger but these were much hotter!

After I left the store last time I thought of a way to get Aldo shoes and accessories and not feeling bad about spending so much. Im going to ask everyone for an Aldo gift card, from mom dad and two bros, that should add up to bit so I can have a little shopping spree after christmas!!!!

Sole Fly Miami

I've been in miami for about 11 months now, and have been looking for nice sneak shops. I found one nice one last semester although it was nice it was on the inside, it was in the hood but most importantly they didn't try to help me out or take me serious when I was shopping because I was a girl. Which I noticed most sneaks shops do sneakers are mainly for guys, but there is lots of girls that rock kicks as well.

But I found a new place about a week ago, right behind my apartment complex on US 1. Passing it when I was on my way to school I saw a sign that read Sole Fly and I knew I had to check it out. Later that night I brought my roommate to the sneak shop. Inside it really is fly, They have a sneaker wall on one side, accessories by the register, shirts on the other side, and a basketball designed corner. Most of their shirts are Miami themed either UM, Miami Heat, the Dolphins, and Miami Pride. I liked this place because they talked to us when we came in and even when they were about to close they were more than friendly. Although they still have few sneaks for girls, I am waiting for them to get more in and then will really be talking!

I always bounce back and forth between outfits. I have two options either like a sexy nerd, which could be really cute, cause i have the glasses and suspenders, i could make it work easily. Then my second outfit is like a mad hatter or ringmaster look. I went to a party city recently and saw this cute lil hat with a veil and I couldn't resist, so now I got that hat (that looks great) but I dont know what outfit to wear with it. It could either look like a mad hatter or ring master outfit. That hat is just making me rethink my outfits. lol I'm so in decisive!

So today was a great day in fashion and to be in New York City. Today is the first day of New York fashion for spring 2010 and tonight is Fashion's night out in NYC and other cities in the world. So it would be amazing if I could be there like the best day ever! But I am unfortunately stuck in this town for the time being, so I did have a mini fashion day off my own lol, besides the fashion websites I check daily and reading magazines. So today I rented the movie (documentary) "Valentino- The Last Emperor". It was great and it showed the work that he and his fellow workers do to make his dresses and business. He was amazing seeing him draw up his visions and telling his ideas, then seeing the dress form infront of your eyes. Oh and I can't forget the premire if ANTM last night! Representing for the short girls, they better bring it though!

Chapters in my life, wanna move to the next chapter!

Okay so I didnt really blog yesterday. But let me tell you what happened in this exciting town! jk. But in the morning I did my first online college algebra homework and got all 100s (As) i had two homework assignments and 2 quizzes and got 100s on all of them.

This semester I was trying to take a French class at my school but it didnt fit the schedule of the other classes I needed to take. But I still do really want to learn French because that is one of my goals. Sense I want to be in the fashion industry I see myself going to Paris for fashion week or any other reason they would need me to go to Paris. But when that happens I want to be able to speak the language so it makes things a little easier one me. So this story does have a finale... last night I want to Books-a-Million and bought to french books.

As for today I'm dreaming about what I want to do this summer, and sense I'll be getting out of this town I want to start working towards my career. Which is to work at a fashion magazine. So I'm thinking about all the magazines I would like to apply to intern for. But then I was also thinking I don't have any experience (in this small town there is not much fashion events goin on here) besides being in the fashion club in 10th grade and they're is a heavy competition by all the other ppl chasing after the same dream. So I will send resumes to all the magazines I can and I'm send resumes to fashion websites I constantly look at as well and I pray that I get one saying yes and have a great experience. Basically I spent all morning/afternoon looking at fashion blogs and websites.

But I should be getting off pretty soon because I have two things I have to read today for school. Peace!

But another thing that makes me look up to them so much more is their ages. They are all around the same age as me 19, 20, and 21. They are living a dream at a young age which I'm trying to do as well. I can also look up to them because I too want to be in the fashion industry and travel around the world for fashion just as they have done.
